  1. Storky ur unbelieveable!!! You know there are massive gaps in ROTR storyline about the World Cups 1978-1982-1986-1990-1994-1998 and of course in the Tiger era. I cant wait to see the full stories of England-France & Spain-W.Germany as u already started. As well in 1978 with the scene of the 3-2 Scotland win over the Dutch.
The 1986 and 1990 are Argentina' s stories but i dont think a Maradona lookalike player ever existed in ROTR universe (or Pele -though in 1994 monthly Lepe is mentioned). Keeping posting World Cup stories (and Euros!) is like a huge enlightenment on these big National Teams Football gaps ROTR left.
Well done, you keep the story on an accurately detailed level.

  2. I have completed the first page of 1978 WC story. It focuses on Holland v Iran and Roy deciding to travel out to Argentina to watch.

The main story will follow the Dutch team, and of course the famous match against Scotland, when McKay & Gordon Stewart (and many more) will play.

I don't like going over four weeks for one story but this one may well.

The Argentina superstar I plan on using is Escudo. He played for the Boston Braves when Roy was guesting for Pine City Pirates. It was mentioned that he was a "star foreign" player. If I can find some good pictures of Jorge Porbillas he will star, but otherwise just feature in long range scenes.

  3. Storky any Maradona lookalike player mentioned in ROTR ever? In FPSM of DC Thompson there was a superstar called Maladona playing for Rigatoni (Italy) and Real Vargoza (Spain)
