On many a Saturday, the family would spend hours playing an ancient version of Wembley that we found in a junk shop in Whitstable. A great game that you could play to the original way or was easy enough to simplify to just play out the Cup.
To play the full version you will need coloured counters and paper money, Monopoly money would work, but you may have to add a zero to each denomination.
